We recently visited Sri Lanka to visit family and arranged a 3 day trip with Palm Lanka Tours. Myself and my husband both have mobility problems. Our guide Dinesh looked after us really well throughout our 3 day trip making sure we were comfortable taking us to visit lots of places and changing the itinerary if needed to make sure it was not too much for my husband. Dinesh is very friendly, very knowledgeable and was always smiling. He made our trip very enjoyable. Me and my friend spent only 8days in Sri Lanka. As we have the driver for the entire time we were able to go to all main sightseeing places, with the best tips for us to enjoy the most. It seems perfect to have a local drive here as he was always informed of the correct timeslots to visit each place. He also help on translation as some of our hotels staff was not fluent in English. Dinesh was committed to show us the best of Sri Lanka and to ensure we had a good experience, trying local food, new fruits and enjoying the sightseeing.

As two girls travelling on our own and landing in Colombo at 10pm, we initially had concerns about safety and getting around Sri Lanka. Those concerns were all put to rest after we met Dinesh who was extremely warm, friendly, and made sure we felt safe and comfortable at all times.
Whilst we had a clear idea of the attractions we wanted to visit (too many within a short four days trip!), Dinesh was able to helpfully provide recommendations that not only improved our initial plans but covered even more places along the way than we originally had in mind! In doing so, Dinesh was never pushy and gave us plenty of space to do our own research and make decisions. He gave us the flexibility to make impromptu changes, meeting earlier/later depending on how much more time we wanted to spend at a place.
Palm Lanka was also one of the more responsive and reasonably priced tour companies. Importantly, they could get us Kandy to Ella reserved train tickets in advance.
Overall, we had a wonderful time in Sri Lanka, and Dinesh (and Palm Lanka) definitely contributed to that. Can’t wait to visit again soon!
We really enjoyed a short visit to Sri Lanka. The organization was super, fantastic guide Mr Damika who has a lot of knowledge about Sti Lanka and showed all the wonders. Overall super trip, thoroughly enjoyed it.
Six day fantastic trip to Sri Lanka with a well catered itinerary that included sites-seeing, cultural, dining and wildlife experiences across the country. Dinesh is the tour guy to go. During this tour Dammika looked after me. He is a very professional driver and he has a wealth of knowledge about Sri Lanka and its touristic attractions. His English is perfect and he did not hesitate to get out of his way to accommodate some changes during the tour.

We went on a 6 day tour and packed in a lot of experiences! From the organisation of the booking to dropping off at the airport we were thrilled with the trip and would highly recommend our guide Dinesh. Dinesh was efficient, punctual and enthusiastic for us to have a good time. He even joined us most evenings and his personality fitted well into our group. The days on our package were long, but that is what we were after. If you would like to do things at a slower pace make them aware whilst organising the itinerary. As we were so efficient with time, we actually managed to fit more in than the original itinerary. One point to note is that tipping (albeit small amounts) is common during excursions. All destinations and nature were top quality, my only disappointment was Colombo and I would not recommend spending much time there. The vehicle was large and comfortable with reclining seats to get to rest on the drives. We chose the average package where hotels were 3/4 star and we were very happy with all of them. Thanks Dinesh and team for creating an unforgettable experience
From the beginning william who organized this trip was sooo flexible and helpful, specially that I’ve cancelled and changed the trip several times but he never complained, and gave me the best price with the best service.
Dinesh the driver did his best to make the best experience for me out of these 8 days. He tried to make me happy everyday, added some places on the trip to visit just to let me enjoy my trip, he is alway on time, funny and honest.

We connected with him from London and stayed in touch to ensure we had a good robust itinerary. Dinesh was very helpful and knowledgeable and made suggestions that enabled us utilise our time there most efficiently without compromising on the value. The minibus he hired to accommodate us all and our considerable amount of luggage was ideal and very comfortable. He is a lively person so there was never a dull moment and he never shied away from going the extra mile to make our trip the most enjoyable. I would strongly recommend him to my family and friends.
